Research progress of LDHs as Fenton reaction catalysts

چکیده

Fenton reaction utilizes the catalytic of H2O2 and Fe2+ to generate highly active hydroxyl radicals (·OH) quickly degrade organic compounds without secondary pollution by-products, which is widely used in fields environmental protection sewage treatment. However, difficulty regeneration low-valence metals ordinary homogeneous Fenton limits efficiency overall reaction. In addition, acidic requirements system introduction iron ions are not ideal from an perspective. recent years, layered double hydroxides (LDHs), as a unique material, have shown excellent performance attracted widespread attention. The sites LDHs usually metal fixed on solid surface, can avoid leaching reduce pH system. Besides, by adjusting structure layers, redox cycle multiple be formed, promotes effectively thus improves This review mainly summarizes progress materials catalysts. challenge prospective trends catalysts also discussed.
